An evaluation is an officially recognised document wherein the value of your property is stated but not as extensive as in and NWWI assessment. Therefore this document can not be used for mortgage applications. But what can it then be used for?
An evaluation for instance, gives an indication of the value of your property. You get an idea of what it should sell for and will give you an indication what you will have to spend on a new property. Furthermore, an evaluation is also useful in less pleasant situations like for instance in a divorce, when one party has to buy out the other.
An evaluation can bring objectivity into the situation. Also in the case of inheritance, an evaluation can be used to indicate the possible proceeds of a property. If in doubt which form of assessment or evaluation is right for you, contact us for a non-binding advice.
